Porridge bread

We recently featured this delicious Porridge Bread recipe on our Instagram page, take a look here. Inspired by Julius of @telltalefood (https://www.instagram.com/telltalefood/), we just love this yogurt bread recipe and know you will too. Simple and delicious, it’s also especially tasty when toasted.

Danone natural yogurt bread recipe

What you need:

1 pot of Danone Natural Yogurt 450g

2 pots of oats (measured using the empty Yogurt pot)

1 pot of mixed fruit & nuts (measured using the empty Yogurt pot)

2 eggs

2 tsp of bicarbonate of soda

A pinch of salt

How to make it:

Preheat your oven to 180°C / 350°F / Gas Mark 4.

Mix all the listed ingredients thoroughly in a mixing bowl.

Pour the dough into 2 loaf tins lined with baking paper making sure to press the dough into the corners removing any air bubbles.

Score the top of each loaf with a knife and place in the oven for 45 minutes.

Remove from the oven and leave to cool for 5 minutes then remove the loaves from the tins and cool on a wire rack.

It’s as simple as that.

If you want to mix things up a bit try adding 2 bananas for a new take banana bread with yogurt.
