Hi, we’re Danone and we’re all about keeping things simple & delicious. It’s nothing new, we’ve actually been doing it for over 100 years.
Well, Isaac, like anyone, wanted what was best for his family and his local community.
To him, making great tasting yogurt with as few ingredients as possible was his way of doing his bit for the people that mattered to him.
He followed his belief in simplicity to create a delicious yogurt, using just milk (his blank canvas) and live cultures (to turn the milk into creamy yogurt) and even named it after his son, Daniel, whose nickname was ‘Danon’
Ever since Isaac set out in 1919, we’ve been fascinated by live cultures. Over 100 years of live culture-loving later, and we’re still fascinated! In fact, we have a collection of 1,800 live cultures that our experts can choose from to turn milk into delicious yogurt.
For us doing good is about more than just making delicious yogurts with no added sugar* or sweeteners. It’s about doing our bit for families, our communities and our planet.
It’s been our belief for the last 100 years, and it’s what we will be focusing on over the next 100.
That’s why we’ve been recognised as a B Corp.
Our assessmentIn a nutshell, B Corp is a community of companies with a common goal: To use business as a force for good. It’s an external recognition of all we do for families, communities and the planet.
After all, what matters more?
